Freedom In Recovery
At Freedom in Recovery, our vision is to create a compassionate and transformative community where individuals recovering from addiction—and those impacted by the addiction of others—find healing, hope, and lasting freedom. Finding Our Freedom in Christ is at the heart of our mission, as we believe that true recovery and restoration are found in Him.
As Isaiah 58:6 declares:
"Is not this the fast that I have chosen: to loose the bonds of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and break every yoke?"
We are a Christ-centered recovery community that provides a safe, supportive space for individuals battling addiction, as well as their loved ones who have been affected by it. We recognize that addiction does not only impact the individual but also families, friends, and communities. There is Freedom in Recovery, and in Christ, we are made new:
"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come." – 2 Corinthians 5:17
No longer defined by our past, we are empowered to walk in our God-given identity, standing firm in faith, rooted and built up in Him (Colossians 2:7). We strive to equip each person with the tools, support, and accountability needed to reclaim their lives, restore relationships, and rediscover their purpose.
Through faith, mutual encouragement, evidence-based strategies, and personal growth, we envision a future where no one walks the path of recovery alone—whether overcoming addiction or healing from its effects. Every individual is equipped to live a fulfilling, substance-free, and victorious life in Christ.

Charles and Kristian Durham
A message from Charles and Kristina,
Whether you’re toying with addiction, drowning in it or know someone in it. The most important thing to know: There is hope for you, and you are not too far gone. I was just like you, my life used to feel directionless, hopeless, and then everything changed. My life went from chaos to clarity through my relationship with Jesus.
Hi, my name is Charles Durham, and I rededicated my life to Christ in 2016 when I not only had an encounter with the father but received supernatural restoration and freedom in Christ. I was addicted to drugs for over 30 years I was at the end of myself lost and broken when God came and set me free. I had literally become a new creation in Christ Jesus overnight.
God is a creator, a restorer, and a redeemer. He absolutely loves transforming old lives into something completely new. Paul affirms this in one of our favorite verses; “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!" 2 Corinthians 5:17
We can also look forward to be being renewed daily with the Fathers Love. The Apostle John revealed a vision he had of what Heaven would be like. In Revelation 21:4-5. he describes how the Father will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away. He who was seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new!”
Making things new is in His character, and He will do it for you!
My wife Kristina and I have a heart and passion for God. To see all God's children, walk in true freedom and know their God given identity. To discover their purpose and experience God's love. Break generational barriers, addictions, rebuild relationships with yourself, your family, and Jesus. Living free once and for all!
Freedom From Addiction is about repairing the old waste places. We are here to bring families back together God is all about healing broken hearts and restoring lives while Freedom from Addiction may seem geared towards addiction it’s so much more, we minister to the person breaking out of addiction as well as the family members affected by the addiction one night a week we come together as a family for coffee and fellowship then break off into respective groups to receive healing and practical steps to walk out your freedom.
God loves you and so do we!
